We’re looking for an AI Engineer who can push the boundaries of how Livo understands, reasons, and assists users across their workspace. You’ll work on model selection, fine-tuning, evaluation frameworks, retrieval pipelines, and reasoning systems that power intelligent suggestions and agentic behaviors. This role is for someone who loves diving deep into models, shaping their real-world behavior, and turning cutting-edge AI capabilities into simple, predictable, high-quality product experiences.
What you'll do
Build evaluation systems that measure accuracy, reliability, failure modes, and behavioral drift
Develop and optimize models for reasoning, summarization, planning, and in-product intelligence
Fine-tune models and design prompting strategies aligned with Livo’s tone and calm UX philosophy
Implement retrieval, embeddings, and context-building pipelines to support intelligent workflows
Partner with product, design, and backend engineering to integrate model behavior cleanly into features
Explore agentic workflows, multi-step reasoning loops, and task planning capabilities
Ensure AI output remains consistent, safe, predictable, and aligned with user intent
What We’re Looking For
Strong understanding of model internals, prompting, fine-tuning, and evaluation techniques
3–6+ years of experience working directly with LLMs, embeddings, or reasoning systems
Experience with retrieval/RAG architectures, vector search, or multi-step reasoning pipelines
Comfortable balancing research exploration with production constraints
Ability to turn complex AI behaviors into simple, user-friendly product outcomes
Solid engineering fundamentals in Python, Node.js, or similar ecosystems
Curiosity, rigor, and a strong sense of responsibility when shipping AI-driven features
